《2008创意经济报告》已开始征订!
 

    《2008创意经济报告》由联合国贸发会议、联合国开发计划署、联合国教科文组织、世界知识产权组织和国际贸易中心五大机构共同努力完成。中文版由联合国贸发会议秘书处授权中国社会科学院文化研究中心翻译，直观智业文化传播公司与三辰影库音像出版社联合组织出版、发行。在10月25日由中国社会科学院文化研究中心、世界对华交流协会、三辰卡通集团等主办的“2008中国·宋庄文化产业论坛”上举办了首发式和赠书仪式。

    本报告主要面向政府决策者、业内专家并作为专业会议的文献资料，是管理人员、经济学家、文化专家、研究机构、创意人士和高校学生的必备读物。

Theme: The Giant Footprint of Creative Economy

In the contemporary world, a new development paradigm is emerging that links the economy and culture, embracing economic, cultural, technological and social aspects of development at both the macro and micro levels. Central to the new paradigm is the fact that creativity, knowledge and access to information are increasingly recognized as powerful engines driving economic growth and promoting development in a globalizing world.

In 1990s, OECD has claimed in its series of reports that, most developed countries has entered “the era of knowledge-based economy”. 10 years later, The Creative Economy Report 2008 as the result of an initiative to assess the developing trend of creative economy in global scopes, has been put forward by the partnership between UNCTAD, UNDP Special Unit for South-South Cooperation, UNESCO, WIPO and ITC. This Report aims to “assist developing countries to harness their creative economies and to maximize development gains by recognizing the creative economy as a feasible option for linking economic, technological, social and cultural development objectives in a globalizing world”. The Report recognizes that “developing countries around the world can find ways to optimize the potential of the creative economy for generating socio-economic growth, job creation and export earnings while at the same time promoting social inclusion, cultural diversity and human development”.

As a response to this new challenge, the 2008 China·Songzhuang International Cultural Industries Forum has been initialized and organized collectively by the Research Centre for Cultural Industries & Policy of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS), World China Network Association (WCNA), Sunchime Cartoon Group and Songzhuang Original Art and Cartoon Industry Cluster. The forum will

• Release advanced dynamic informations of Global Cultural Industries;
• Exchange understandings about the trend of Global Cultural Industries;
• Establish the linkage between various IGOs and Associations;
• Promote the internal- and international cooperation between of related Governmential departments and institutions in China, and a wide variety of International Organizations;

The 2008 China·Songzhuang International Cultural Industries Forum is the second ICI Forum in China. Its first conference during the session of “The 3rd Shenzhen Cultural Expo” held in May 2007. The 2007 ICI Forum had invited leaders and experts from a number of international organizations and industrial associations, such as UNESCO, WIPO, UNCTAD, IPA, IDA, FIAM, IFEA, etc. The first report of Bluebook series, Bluebook: World Cultural Industries Report 2007, had been launched after the Forum.

The 2008 China·Songzhuang International Cultural Industries Forum (ICI FORUM) has been held in Songzhuang Original Art and Cartoon Industry Cluster in Beijing as one of the events of The 4th Songzhuang Art Festival. Songzhuang Original Art and Cartoon Industry Cluster presently attracts more than 3,000 most active and alternative artists, and becomes the largest art camp in the whole world. Leading the development of Contemporary Visual Art in China, Songzhuang is progressively integrating into a creative industries cluster for all sectors, relecting the new trends in global creative economy. There is no doubt that Songzhuang, thus, provides a unique yet perfect forum venue for global cultural industries leaders.

The 2008 China·Songzhuang International Cultural Industries Forum has continuously gained strong supports from 10 international organizations, such as the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO). The Leaders and renowned researchers from these IGOs and Associations will attend the Forum and present respective professional reports. Topics will include 2008：World Report on Creative Economy, World Report on Cultural Statistics & Cultural Diversity, 2008：World Report on Copyright Industries, The UIS Global Cinema Survey, Annual Report on TV Industry in the Age of Internet-Changing and Prospects, International Game Summit 2008 and Global Game Industry Development, 2008: World Report on International Licensing Industry and 2008: Global Investment & Development on Multimedia and Digital Industry, with extra focuses such as Digital Technology and The Development Of Cultural Industries.
